New Wanna-be
« on: April 19, 2005, 09:15:04 PM »

Been ridin HD's for a few year's, anyway just sold my FB and still have a 04RKC so now I have the money to pay cash for a 05 SEEG, never like to finance  toy's.
I'm #2 in line for the next SEEG at the local dealer, hopefully #1 deal will fall thru and the bike will be mine.
I have some question's
1. what muffler's come on the bike?
2. is the tour pack detachable?
3. what color wind screen?
4. necessary up grades?

I'am sure there will be some more question's

                                               thanks          jim

I just sold this bike Monday.

Still have the RKC.

You have come to the right site to have your questions answered regarding CVOs.

There are over 1,000 options out here and a large percentage of them are based upon personal experience with a matter

I would offer mine, but I am a novicein those areas...Always a student, never a teacher.

Good Luck with your quest and welcome to an informative site...

Welcome to the site Jimp. Here is a little help for your questions. Scroll down to the Electra Glide Discussion and grab a chair. You will be here for a while. Good luck!

Jimp,

I've been told Jim's HD sells at MSRP.  Might want to give them a try.  Rossiter's in Sarasota is $3K over MSRP.  Good luck and happy hunting!

Was at Rossiter's yesterday and didn't see one (although their showroom is absolutely stuffed with inventory).  Their number is (941) 951-6103.  They did have a Ultra Glide with a sidecar.  Good looking set up.
Back to your question.  The SEEG I bought over MSRP was "stock."  As most here, have upgraded the exhaust (although stock are Screamin Eagle pipes), changed out seat, upgraded suspension, changed air cleaner, and went with a HD race tuner.  Other than than, did not do much to it.   [smiley=7.gif]

Saw a yellow seeg on the floor at Orland HD yesterday.  They had a price tag of $34,500 on it.  Ouch!

I've got the Cherry seeg.  Added Freedom pipe setup w//PowerCommander & SE Air Breather, Hog Tunes, HA90 MP3 Player, Kuryakyn Tourtech peg mounts w/Large Airfoil pegs, and Memphis Shades Ruby gradient 9inch wind screen.

I've got the low profile rear saddle guards on order and I'm planning on putting on the 12 inch HD Progressive shocks before Myrtle beach.

Use a Bend-Pak Ranger lift and haul this puppy (only when necessary) with a Thule Cargopro.

Yea talked to Len at Orlando today, they won't sell it for MSRP.

As you probably know, advertising on the site for personal gain is taboo.  In light of that, I'd suggest that you call Crystal River HD @ 352-563-9900 and ask for my son, Clay.  He sold one yellow SEEG yesterday and I believe he said another is enroute with a third coming in about 2 weeks.  Since I don't get a "piece of the action", I guess it's OK to help you find a scoot at the price you want to pay.  Good luck wherever you locate one.

Hi ya Big Daddy,
Just read your post and with a few variations we've got twins.  Different pipes and you've added the MP3 player that I can't (well maybe) use because I put on the Wild 1 chubby handlebars.  But the rest of it shows that you've got really really really good taste in accessories  [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

"Thank you for the inquiry, we have one more yellow SEEG coming next week and the price for that bike will be $35,265 plus taxes and fee's
let me know if you want it.
thanks
rick"

"Are you putting some extra's on the bike, I have talked with two other dealers that have one coming in next week and their price is 32,414.85 otd.

Jimp,
Would advise checking Fletcher's in Clearwater...may be sold out for the year for SEEG's but they will sell at MSRP.
