...Last but least I want to thank Craig & the lovely Martha for their smiling faces and keeping Helen laughing.  ;D
Also want to thank Helen for riding her Fatboy to Daytona for the first time. It was our first overnite ride with us both riding. She did real well and I proud of her for her progress. Way to go honey, I love you.  :2vrolijk_21:  See you all soon  :2vrolijk_21:

                            Dave
I tell you what, Craig and the lovely Martha do have a happiness inside that glows around them and beams from those smiles.  Great pics really show that.  And Helen, so happy to hear that you braved the overnight on your bike.  You did very good.  Maybe a trailer coming up for sale in the future.   :coolblue: :cherry:

This next guy needs no introduction.
Last nighht at the dinner I asked everyone to introduce themselves.
When it came to Randy he said,
"Hi, I'm Neal, on the site my handle is Naitram"
There were about 25 people there and that introduction got a lot of looks!

This is still making me crack up. Randy .... you are the man.  ;D

With Daytona now over I have had a chance to talk with others that went for the second weekend.
General consensus is the last three days sucked.
We left on Tuesday and I have been told that Wedesday and Thursday was great but the rest of the week and weekend was either rainy or the wind was blowing hard!

We had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone at CHL and or M/V.

We left on Wednesday afternoon, a little rain on Tuesday evening, but a great visit to Daytona.

It was great meeting everybody, looking forward to meeting others in the future.

Thanks for sharing pics.

Yes, it rained on us all the way on Friday.  When we got to destination daytona it was dead.  Very windy on Saturday.  I've learned to give myself an extra day for weather.

 :jack:
Puzled did a better job of taking pictures of bikes than I did so I thought I would post there here.

This is what seperates Daytona from Sturgis, otherwise I think the rides around Sturgis are better. JMHO

Just got off the phone with my bro Animal who lives in Ormand Beach. He tells me attendance was way down, prices were way up and he was disappointed. FYI, me and Animal did our first Daytona Bike Week in 1984, so the man speaks from experience.

Rides around Sturgis are MUCH better.  Daytona is too flat for the best riding if you twisties & hills.  Tomoka State Park Rd. & A-1A back (the Loop) & a few river roads are very scenic.

Dereck - that beach view in your pic looks EXACTLY like the place we stayed a year or so ago.

Rides around Sturgis are great provided you go the opposite direction as the crowd....otherwise you sit and bake in traffic...   ???

Actually, Sturgis the town is boring (to me).  We stayed in Deadwood.

Not much on joining the lemming type rides to here or there for some damn reason - Devil's Tower, panty's free Wednesday, etc.
