Hey HD288,

Glad to see you have also found the CD!  Bob Seger should be paying us a little something for our promotion [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Bob Seger, Roll Me Away is always the first song out of the driveway.
I agree here.

With XM radio, you can choose any type of music you want! I personally love to ride with Country music....George Straight, Travis Tritt, etc, along with rock from Chris Issac.  You can't go wrong with the XM, as you don't have to change any CD's [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

XM is nice (when the reception is good). I used the 3 month trial when I went on a trip through Montana, Yellowstone & the Tetons. In open areas with no obstructions is was great but when we had trees on both sides of the road it would fade out and become unreliable. That's irritating if you're jammin' to a great song. So.... I didn't continue with the subscription. I load up a CD with MP3 files (and you can fit a LOT on one CD) and never have to deal with fade or talk of any kind plus I like EVERY song on the CD

To solve the reception problem, I moved my antenna to the top of my fairing right by the seam where you don't see any wires. Just used a little velcro and it works 99.99999% of the time. Only when very large mountains are right beside you, you might lose for a split second.

Only when very large mountains are right beside you, you might lose for a split second.  Now I'm a happy XM camper.  You'd have to pry it from my cold dead hands to make me go back to CD's or use an Ipod. Just get on the bike and go.

On the road glide my xm antenna is wedged between the outer fairing shell and the windscreen.  The reception is so good that I play the xm in my garage with the door closed while wrenching. Reception was poor when the antenna was installed in the fairing as set forth in the installation instructions.

Here's a few I'd pick:

Highway Star (Deep Purple)
Heavy Fuel (Dire Straights)
Turn the Page (Bob Seeger)
Sweet Child of Mine (Guns 'n Roses)
