Already did and done. :)

Helmet shop (Bill) was a great guy.  Took a few extra minutes out to help answer a couple of my questions. (They are in Daytona.. so in the middle of bike week their, so it made it all the more impressive with how busy he was.)

So all and all I did pretty good.

$314 for the electronics from helmetshop.
$139 for the N42 from someplace out of  the 313 area code.. (Oneida Suzuki - and I dont own one but hell if there gonna make a typo in there database and sell the helmet that cheap, I'll buy it from them...lol.. and after I placed my order I thought to go back and look at something.. they raised the price to $159.)

Got it all done for just over $450.  Gotta love it!

Now.. the impaitient part... Waiting for it to get here.

NOpe not worried about intercom for passenger.

I want bike to bike Midland radio intercom. Least then I can talk to other riders in the group etc.

Supposedly I can hook up a wire to the radio instead for the intercom port and have the multimedia port for the iPod and bluetooth will pair to the garmin.

Have played with COM in the intercom port.  From that experience I'd guess what you're wanting to do should work just fine.  Think you'll be pleased with the setup.  Good luck!

I concur

I had a really good experience with them also Scott.  There aren't a ton of providers for the NCom accessories here.  A few.  But they're not just all over the place.

This vendor knew the products well.  Was completely willing to go through alternatives I might wish to exercise at different times.  All tolled was just great to work with.  I only bought the battery and a couple of other small things.  Got the same service and support as if I was buying several expensive helmets.  Nice folks.
