Slipon Recommendations for use with Samson True Duals
« on: March 07, 2008, 02:44:56 PM »

Here is what I am looking for.  I need 2 slipon's for the Samson TD headers I have for my FatBoy.  I want them to be slash down ends with anything from 3 to 4 inch in diameter.

Anyone know of someone who makes such a beast?  I couldn't locate any with a local HD dealer and so now I am hoping someone out here might have a clue. (Can never trust parts guys to call you back when they say they will....but on the other hand that just might be House of Blunder)

(And in case your wondering why.... I have attached a photo not of my bike, but what is being done.  My rear is going to look like the one in the photo, and I want the large openings because smaller ones would not look right against what will now be a large rear end. So with a pic in hand so you can see what I am doing.. Open to other suggestions as well to what other might think would look good as well.)

I'm getting a bracket to install the touring bags, bag extenders, and fender for my FatBoy from http://www.baddad.com.. there out of Illinois.

I have no slip on recommendation for you, but....

Your bike is going to look great.  I think the extended bags and wide rear fender produces awesome lookin baggers!  Nice... :2vrolijk_21:

I like there stuff, did you see the remote opening bags? Not practical but cool. The hidden tail lights are nice too. As for the openings for the exhaust, my opinion is to keep the close to the size of the pipes coming out. If their to big for the pipes, I don't think they look right. Here's another one, I think it's from them too.

Rush makes an EXCELLENT slip-on.  I have the 2.25" baffled slips on my Bagger.  Check it out http://www.epiflex.com/touring.html.  see if they have what you're huntin'.
