Why did you take the TP off? :nixweiss:
As handy as that tp is, the kewl factor goes waaaay up with it off.

I suspect is the answer.

Man, you dug this one up out of the boneyard.

Yes, I'd have to agree, I think most women that are riding Harleys are riding Street Glides.

I edited the poll to include Street Glides and to include the option to change your vote.....just remove your current vote and the option to vote will come up again. :2vrolijk_21:

My wife stared with a Honda 750 shadow spirit. Now she rides a Heritage Softail. We have done a little work to it to make it her own. Shes put 50k miles on it and still going strong.

Nice thread, never seen this before. Kandy's first bike back in the 80's was a 400 cc Yamaha Maxim twin. She probably didn't put 800 miles on it over 5 years. When we got back into riding 4 years ago we got her the bike below, a Suzuki S50 Boulevard 800cc Vtwin. She still has and loves this bike. Great starter bike. Low seat, small tank, plenty of power. I told her if she rode 2,500 miles in a season she could choose a bigger ride.

We found this bike in spring of 2009 and Kandy fell in love with it. She begins the riding season on the Suzuki and then moves to the Deuce after a few hundred miles.  We did get a lowered, push forward Corbin seat to put her where she is more comfortable.

Here's the wires Fatboy, I finally have her convinced to change the bars, she loves the look the way it is now, just not the ride.

My wife started out on dirt bikes as a teenager. She was off bikes for a long time, and got her MC license in 2008. She had a 2008 Yamaha 1100 Classic that I had tricked out with a lot of chrome, but it wasn't the bike she really wanted. And I wanted her on a HARLEY! SO, SHE suggested that I trade HER bike on the bike I wanted... so I did... on the new FLHXSE3. Now she's riding my old '95 FLHTP, "Big Bad Bertha" (which I've really tricked out, too), and I'm riding the new CVO SG. She LOVES Bertha , and we're both happy. She says Bertha is a "classic"... and I guess maybe she sort-of, kind-of is... being a '95 FLHTP - which is the 30th anniversary of the original Electra-Glide in '65. She's not an Anniversary Edition or anything - just a '95 Police Bike - but she feels like a member of our family, and my wife really likes riding her.

So I now have my wife on a Harley with me, and all is well!

We're going to the Thunder Beach Rally in Panama City at the end of Sept. Maybe we'll see some of you there!

My wife rides on whatever I ride.  She's very content being a BSR and prefers to remain one, having no interest in riding her own.  I have no problem with that, as I'd rather have her along as my BSR then to not have her along at all.

My wife BSRed with me for awhile on Bertha... then said "Screw THIS! I want to ride my OWN bike and not have to look at myself in the back of your chrome helmet all the time!" Control freaks...

Mine rides a 2008 Street Glide prior to that a 2001 Fat Boy and she started out with a 1200 sportster.  The Fat Boy was easiest to ride.  She's 5'11".
