My wife went from Sportsters to FXR's to Dynas to Electra Glides to Road Glides, her latest being this 2009 FLTRSE. She has put at least 50K on each one, she had 80K on her '07 FLTR when she went to this FLTRSE.

BLT stands barely 5ft and hasn't the leverage or leg strength just yet... but we have her on "BLTZEN", a fine '09 XL883C.

Dang she rides a lot of miles.  My wife racks the miles up too.

She has ridden my 09 CVO road glide a few times, but she just does not seem to want one.  Mentioned the new 12 CVO road glide to her, or the Street glide.  However she seems stuck on Heritage, thats what at this point she plans to replace her current 09 with 76K miles on it with.

Mine has an 07 Softail Deluxe which has in effect been turned into a Heritage. Heritage bags, backrest, engine guard and windshield. Sweet bike though and she rides it well. She has ridden it on 2000 mile trips and has led numerous rides around the state. I keep trying to get her to try a touring bike but she is happy with her Deluxe.

I started with a sporty 6 years ago, loved that nimble bike but not great on those long treks we like to take so upgraded to a street glide in 07.  This year I bought a CVO street glide ( autumn harvest) - beautiful ride, beautiful bike.  No reason a woman can't ride the big bikes. Of course if I don't plan the  parking properly, someone may have to pull me out  ( upward slopes are the enemy :))

All of the Nor Cal women on this forum ride Electra Glide models of one type or another.  :2vrolijk_21:
