Don,
They look good. :2vrolijk_21: Be nice to have a background like you had for a pic you took w/your old RK. It was like an empty road or something. Just the bikes and a road would be a great shot for those road dogs. ;D

Cleaned up real nice Don.  Two different bikes with 2 different personalities.  (And you thought you didn't have any kids.)

Just my thoughts exactly when I 1st viewed it.  I'd have to blow that one up for the garage wall... :coolblue:...maybe even a frame.  :2vrolijk_21: har!  spyder

For a quick image that one pleases me.  Thought about enlarging it for shop hanging also.  Then realized I'd like a better backdrop then the neighbor's house.  Will get Travis or someone else over sometime to go riding a bit.  Know a couple places where a fair image might be had with the two set in tandem like that.

That RK had pics from lonely roads and interesting backgrounds all over North America.  So no telling which one it might have been.  Good guess might be some good images I got with the bike setting right on the old Santa Fe Trail just off US 50 west of Dodge City, KS.

There are a few interesting backdrops locally though that could also work.  Some old abandoned barns, couple of rock walled bluffs with water running through, even some interesting old bridges.  Just have to get both bikes somewhere at the same time.

That might have been where they were taken. I think there was a thread about US 50, and you posted the picture in that thread.

Don,

How does that windshield work on the SERG?  Maybe I missed your road test results.

You need some scantily clad ladies in the pic.

It's ok Pete.  Not perfect by any means.  But definitely ok.  Brief discussion is here:

im gonna call bullchit on your " I ain't gonna change much" crap earlier in this thread my friend..noone here is buying that!

Had the Road Glide out for a little run to dinner and back.  Call forwarding even had Scot catch me while doing so to talk about bikes.  Then I got home and remembered this comment from Scot about the bike I was on :huepfenlol2: .

I think it's done pretty well actually.  Really haven't changed a great deal.  There have been additions.  But they've been far more functional or even necessary than purely decorative.

Just re-read this thread to amuse myself.  The SERG has been home about 3 1/2 months now and has so far proved to be a fine bike.  Initial impressions have held pretty much true too.

Read where I'd hoped that the stock seat would be ok.  It was less uncomfortable seat wise than it was badly positioned.  But 250 miles or so in and I began to notice it.  The new Corbin seems to be a real winner.

Aside from that it got the windshield changed, alarm system  and garage door opener added, the FatCats and a set of better speakers installed.  It got Progressive shocks, neutral switch cover, speedo sensor cover, black high torque starter and the SAC eagle grips as hand me downs from the SEEG.  Anything else has been only regular maintenance to make sure it was back up to speed after not having been ridden a lot for a few years.

So far this bike runs great, sounds great, is now very comfortable and is just a joy to ride.  Several of you contributed in some way to getting it that way.  Good ideas and a few shared parts.  Thanks to all.  It's a fun bike.
