Man, I am so unschooled on classic or contemporary pornography.  Had to look up the name.  I'm so ashamed.

Seeing this thread again peaked my curiosity about what the bike had done since it came home late winter or early spring.  Most of the small changes are directly or immediately noticable.  But here's an interesting then and now comparison.  Even the "now" image is before the new handlebars.  But it's close to current.

I really do need better "now" pictures.  Color matched bag latches aren't there either.  Couple of other small things.  Guess I've done more to this bike than I'd realized :2vrolijk_21: .

Having ridden "now" I have to say I love it. Those of you with comfort issues with Corbin might take note of this post. The seat on Don's SERG is heated and as such has this ribbed pattern with an extra layer of cushy foam. While the leather could use something to make it easier to slide around on, the seat was soooooooooo much more comfortable than the non heated Corbin seat on my Road Glide. Now here's where Corbin is totally weird in my book. According to Mr Twolanerider, Corbin WILL NOT make you a non-heated seat with the extra foam and ribbed covering.  :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

This post brings to mind something I keep putting out of my mind.

Would it be a bad thing to have a MS CVO ?

It's weird.  And it's hard to believe they won't.  But I asked them specifically twice if they'd pad a tuck a non-heated seat as they do the heated and was told no by two different people.  Admittedly they're not always the best company in the world at keeping their information straight.  But it was two for two on two different days.

And, BB, that seat has been dressed again and has made the trip back and forth to MV now also.  It's lost just a bit of that non-sliding texture in the new leather.  It's actually the most comfortable of the three saddles here.  They're all good.  But it's the best one.

Carlos, with this pair I'm not really competing.  And, if memory serves, she took that bike from you.  Since you didn't get to keep her she doesn't really count :huepfenlol2: .

Nice eBay parcel arrived today.  Chip has scored enough blue parts to reclad his bike a couple of times.  Red spares were just never showing up though.  Then a couple weeks ago a listing for a pair of luxury rich red saddlebag lids showed up followed by a pair of midnight red lower fairing caps.

The the caps for the lowers for just over $30.  Odd color and no one else in the world had need.  Only one other bidder on the saddlebag lids and got the pair for $85 plus freight.  Really need the lids too. The right one especially.  Dead on match too.

I am new to the site congrats on your bike you will love it, I had a bike like that and loved it I put 70,000 miles on it, hated to get rid of it. I now have a 2007 SE Ultra. And if you would like to buy a trailer to match your bike I have one.
