I think these really clean up an area HD overlooked.

Those are nice. :2vrolijk_21: How about some details.... who makes them, did you have them painted, how easy to install, etc.

I agree...a HUGE improvement over stock. I really like that you painted the neck covers to match your SERK.

I like the Kuryakyn Chrome neck covers but was told they would not go on the 2005 SEEG.  Something to do with the cruise control I believe.  I believe the Harley ones say the same thing.

Can't speak to the 2005, but they work on an 03 with cruise and Grover's got them on his 04 with cruise.

I ordered the Kuryakyn black to have them painted to match the bike. Sent them to Gene in Washington. I'm mechanically challenged, but it didn't take me very long to install. Maybe an hour, but I really took my time.

Kuryakyn rep told me that in Reno and the Harley ones I bought said it right on the box.  I had to take them back.  For all I know they may have a new and improved one out.  I would like to get them but not really a must  have.

Regards, Moe

The HD ones for some reason with a painted inner fairing are listed as not fitting.

I have the the damaged paint to prove it, had em', put em' on, sold em' on eBay, replaced the lower inner fairing.

I heard that some with an aftermarket fairing have trouble with the left side hitting, but mine don't. I'm able to swing the bike fully left and right without hitting the inner fairing.
