Those last series of pictures aren't really sidecars, they're called "worms".  Both rear tires are driven.  They will really fly, but as you can see it's extreme work to keep them flat.  And that's with the CG 2" off the ground!

Duane, any job that carries a requirement of kevlar nads and bum protection is a job I'm not doing for money.  They need some other incentive.

Spoke to my friend w/ the Ultra/sidecar combo today. He said I could ride it anytime. When I told him about the Screamin Eagles not being able to accommodate a sidecar he said that it because all our models have oil coolers that interfere with the mounting brackets.

Oil cooler.  You don't need no stikin' oil cooler on these 110s.  You think they run hot or sumpthin'?

My oil cooler is only held on with itty bitty bolts.  If that's all it takes to bolt down a sidecar there's some magic-ness goin on ??? !   :huepfenlol2:

the lower sidecar brackets clamp to the frame where the loops were on the pan-heads. they clamps are large enough that they just clear the oil filter. all of the various factory oil cooler adapters wont fit with the lower sidecar brackets in place.

however i have no idea if thats the reason they say not to mount a sidecar to a cvo model or not.

I asked the head wrench at my dealer and he said you would have to switch to a different oil cooler to miss sidecar mounts. RIDE SAFE JDO

If you wanted a side car it seems the oil cooler would be a minor issue  :nixweiss:
