If you're talking about the back side of the throttle plate, a small amount of "sludge" (actually more of a heavy film) is a normal occurrence.  It comes not only from crankcase fumes being routed back to the intake, but also normal reversion in the intake tract leaving fuel and combustion deposits.  Check the back side of the throttle plate on your fuel injected automobiles; you'll find the same condition.

If you are seeing more than just a light buildup I would suspect a fairly severe case of blow-by.  Do you have oil dripping out of the air cleaner or liquid oil in the air cleaner when you remove the cover?  If you do, search on blow-by for some threads discussing that common issue.  First thing to try is running your oil level approximately 1 pint below full.

Hey Jerry, no oil leakage, all sludge found on the  filter side of the throttle plate, throttle body side had minimal sludge, yes the throttle body of cars do this and vary from manuf-manuf, however i have probably cleaned at least several hundred throttle bodies on vehicles and the amount i had on my 110 is like a worn out huffer in a vehicle. I am using amsoil in the bike and do run it on the short side of the full mark do to typical synthetic migration charcteristics. I have no noticible oil consumption. I suspect it is the breather design perhaps.
