I will have to agree with the other posts, the bike is awesome. I definetly have to say dito 90% SEEG. 10% more to go  :cucumber:

The way gas is going, people need to start making their bikes like cars. Seriously looking into a rain suit :'( Well looks good and keep us posted.

Thank so much again gang! Ultra! 90% SEEG! :vrolijk27: :vrolijk27: :vrolijk27:

Cybil is 100% Pure Bred Road King John & Izy!!! She will have no fairing!!! :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse:

"That's it for now" was about the pics Jeff, not the bike! She's almost done and just with the way I want her. But ya'll know, new things always pop up. So mostly done is about as far as she'll get. Always a work in progress! ;)

Speakers weren't too bad spyde. Marine Polk/Momo Component 6.5". They ran about 100 bucks for the pair wholesale. Haven't heard them personally. I hope they work well with the 150W HW amp! When I blaze a trail, I blaze the whole damn trail, not just a part of it! ::)

And he did a great job on the speaker pods too Henry. Love the way the whole thing came out, and how perfectly it matches the sadllebags and the rest of the bike! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:

Gene's work is super Scott. Can't recommend him enough to ya'll!

We do raingear and tools in 1 saddlebag, and some junk and space for her bag, the bike cover, first aid kit and our jackets in the the other. A bag with her things in the TP, and a bag on the TP rack for my things. Real simple, huh? :)

Thanks again. Appreciate the compliments! :2vrolijk_21:

HOST..man everything looks great on your bike..I think i know why the cycle sounds are 30% louder they are using Hi-Way Acoustical Grills  4405-0083g on the speaker..I havent call to confirm it but i will. I hooked the cycle sounds up last night..I did use the wiring harning that i bought. But  i am thinking of wiring like you did in the nachelle at a later time..I did put the extra wiring from the speakers and amp in the nachelle. Heres my input on the cycle sounds (I couldnt take it for a test ride...it raining here in nc) With older music like Canned Heat, Allman Brothers, and JO JO Gunne the music wasnt as loud..But music from the 80s and newer music sounded much better and clearer. I did use a mp3 player and the gps mp3 player with a SD card of music in the gps. It appear to me that the gps Rocked..Louder and clearer sound..Maybe the gps has a higher mv output..Guys that are wanting too add cycle sounds with just the 2 speaker setup all i can tell you for now is that they sound good playing in the garage last night..But out on the road i dont know its raining here...

Thanks hnc! The system's great in the garage, but needs help at highway speed. I'm hoping that their replacement speakers with the highway acoustic grilles help that. But I'm really hoping that with the TP on w/the HW 150W amp and the 6.5" Polks, that the system should rock then! And I found the same thing. The Zumo MP3 is much clearer and better sounding than the XM. ;)

She's looking very sweet indeed Howie. Can't wait to see her in the flesh.

You must be chuffed with the way things have eventually turned out.

Howie,

The addition of the Tour Pack makes the bike look complete. Looks fantastic. I bet Binx really likes the seat arrangement. Now she doesn't need to worry about falling off under extreme take-offs. :huepfenlol2:
Also she can go to sleep on long trips. ;D

No wheelie bar off the back axle & no skid plate on the back of the tour pack?   :nixweiss:

Holy Sh*t I had not looked at this thread before!!!!!!!!! Nice looking bike. I took my wallet and had my wife lock it away 8). Hoist I am interested to see how you set up the front speakers. I have rumble roads which are basically like the 3" spots and would like them just a little louder, and probably a bit more than that if I do Rush or Supertrapp slip ons. Hearing you say you wished they were louder makes me wonder though??

Howie, How did you and Gene achieve the raised flame detail to match the original leather saddle bags?

Yes, on the lid. Click a pic of the top and you can see the. They're in the recessed panel in the middle.

Yeah, don't expect much from thesde handlebar mounted speakers at all. Mine hang from the original TS location below the mirrors. I have no room for any other speakers at all up front. I'm hoping those new replacement speakers and acoustic grilles help some.
