TODAY'S UPDATE:
Went by the shop today to reveiw the electronics phase of Cybil II's mods. Glad I did. I didn't realize that only I could determine where I want the Zumo located. Since this is a permanent installation, I wanted it to be as unobtrusive (not like me) as possible. We found a good spot for it on the left side of the handlebars, but angled the TechMount so it sits directly behind the bar itself, behind the clutch master cyl. So we went over all the req'ts for mounting and wiring it. Taking the advice here and wiring it, along with the 2WheelTunes Amp, to the Accessory Switch.
Then we reviewed the req'ts for the 2WT system. Artie's going to internally wire the front speakers, which will mount under the mirrors, where the original Turn Signals were located. The Amp mounts on the crossmember on the downtubes. We can't internally wire the Audio Output Wire from the Zumo from the amp, without cutting into the Jack. So the Audio Signal wire will be mounted externally.
So until the KTP arrives, I'll be able to use this system with the front speakers alone. I need to locate an 8 foot Audio Cable to connect the Rear Hawg Wired Amp to the Zumo as well. I'll also need a 2 foot length, and some kinda coupling, for a quick connect of the TP Audio Wire. Anyone have a source for this?
He also was installing the Xetronics HID lighting as I was leaving. Unfortunately, he's off tomorrow and Fri, so I probably won't see the bike this weekend.
Bummer, it's supposed to be real nice. But they got the wrong front tire in anyway. They were sent a D-402 non-radial, in my size. But they have the D-407 Radial held at another HD dealer. I'll pick it up tomorrow and drop it off to them on Sat.
Feuling is sending out the rest of the hardware so everything matches. I'll get them on when I receive them. When the KTP arrives, we'll just have to mount the Amp and Crossovers, do some additional wiring, and my Baby will be completed for this season!!!

Don't ask, Pics to follow when I get it back next week!
Hoist!
Some changes to the above. We moved the TechMount for the Zumo to the bottom of the bars, to the left of the riser cover. It blocked too much view up high with the 12.5" apes. This location seems to work well too, and won't obstruct my view. Yeah, yeah, I know, pics to follow!

I got ahold of d00d's place, Sound Professionals in NJ. Excellent people to work with. They're making me a 6"L single M x dual F splitter, a 96"L MxF, and an 18"L M x F to connect at the amp in the TP. This will be the detachable point for the audio cable. They were great to work with and they'll pretty much make you anything you want.

The HID's are installed. Now that I know which one is low beam, I can even connect them!

I picked up the new front D-407 from a dealer and dropped it off to NSMC. Good to go there too!

Lastly, Feuling shipped out the rest of my ARP SS hardware. Should be good there too, when it arrives.

Now just waiting on the return of my KTP. Hopefully Gene's sending it out this week. He's stated that for the prior 2 weeks too. But you know these artsy types. I guess it's when he's done. I need it by the weekend to have any hope of getting the amp mounted and wired in time for the York trip. I really don't need it for such a short trip, but was looking forward to York being Cybil's maiden voyage in full Hot Rod Touring Style. I was hoping to show it off to ya'll too. But it seems it will have to be next time!

Hopefully more updates and pics this weekend!

Hoist!
