I've got the Monster Ovals on order for my 09 CUSE4 as the ones I saw on a similar demo bike looked and sounded great.Can anyone tell me if they add any more power over the stock exhaust system?

Thanks

My opinion would be anything is better then stock.

With that said, I do thing you have to have a good combination of Header pipes, Breather, and Mufflers.
Then get it tuned.

I am going in for a tune this Saturday, I will post my results but as I have stated before not looking for #'s as much as performance.

This is what I got with V&H Power Duals, Monster Ovals, SEAC and Supertuner:
It's a 10HP gain over my 2007 FLHTCUSE with V&H True Duals and Ovals..

Just had the monster ovals (chrome with black tips + fuel pak) installed today.  I had the V&H regular ovals (too loud and raspy).  From a "conservative" but also from a very long term rider ... from track day race bikes to cruisers ... I can not say how much I agree with the V&H statement.  These pipes are awesome.  Not obtrusively loud (at all)....rather a deep, cool, rumble, good for the suburs without upsetting the neighbors, yet mean enough to add serious character to the bike, with great performance, very smooth and awesome looking.  Im a big fan.

I have the 2007 SERK - black ice and the monster ovals with black tips + fuel pak + red line shock proof in tran and primary have really transformed the bike into a best in class experience.   I did NOT like the loudness of the regular V&H ovals I had on, monsters quited it down, with NO loss in power, just a deep cool rumble that is pwefect.

My 2 cents only , for whatever thats worth .... but well worth it.

I just had Monster Ovals put on my 08 CUSE and am pleased....with the sound but more importantly with the tune I had done with them and the SE intake.  Much smoother and responsive.

Many people on this site are smarter then me but I would have to ask...has it been tuned with your other Mufflers?
If so, I would probably see how it runs then decide.

If it hasn't been tuned better yet.....Get it tuned after you put the Monster Ovals on.

But after having my first bike tuned........I would definitely have a tuned bike.

SWEET SOUND AND LOOKS GOOD.

I picked up my bike from the dealer today
* Monster Ovals
* Fuel Pak

2009 SEUC

Took it for a 75 mile ride - highway, sweepers and a few twisties for the fun of it.

Did I say SWEET SOUND AND LOOKS GOOD.  (I will post up pics soon) Does not interfere with the radio listening!

Since my bike is at the dealer having a new engine installed per HD's instruction i called them and am having the monster ovals, power duals, se air and sert installed. After reading this post i see some decent numbers from this change and hope to rid the bike of some of its heat issues. I was very close to doing teh fulsac mods which i am certain would have saved me money and ran just as well, but i would like to retain my stock setup for the future should state inspections change in ma.

HDnut....i had the v&h ovals on my 06 street glide and switched to the monsters without needing to retune it.

I bought a set for my 09 SE Ultra. I took them off and sold them after about 200 miles and put the stock SE muffflers back on but with Fulsac 1.75s inside. I like the looks and sound of the stock mufflers MUCH more than the over priced monsters! I sold the V&H's for $350.00.   Call Steve at Fulsac. He has a simple inexpensive way to get a great sound.
