Thanks everyone!...now for another glitch!  I burned a cd and when I tried to play it on the bike, it would not play and it would not eject. Volume and channel controls will not work once I have pressed the eject button. If I bring the ignition switch back to the off position and the reset it to accessory, volume and channel controls resume...until I hit the eject button and then the controls freeze again. Anyone experience this?

Head for the dealer for warranty replacement, do not pass go, go directly to dealer.

Remove your MaXie Fuse (Located under the cover under your left leg) wait 5 minutes reinstall the Maxie fuse Turn your ing to acc turn on the radio and select CD then Hit eject.

The CD you burned did you put a paper label on it? If so that may be your issue.

Information on Maxie Fuse is in your owners manual.

REmoving it kills power to the radio memory so it should clear it.

This is covered in the Electrical Diagnostic Manual for 2004 Touring bikes with a chart of things to check (sorry no scanner). First question it asks is "Does the EJECT button have any effect? In other words, does EJECT button cause CD to Move or LCD to change". If the answer is no then the instructions say go into diagnostic mode (which I would recommend at this time taking it to a dealer). Not sure if it's going to be something you can repair and might need the radio replaced.

You can also do as Jerry suggested (contact Radio Sound) when you asked this question in another thread...
I'd suggest calling Radio Sound and asking them about how to manually eject a disk (I've got to believe there is a way to do it, but the H-D shop manuals don't go into any detail on the internals of the radio).  Call or email them here:
Radio Sound Customer Service
1-502-267-6768 or toll free at 1-877-655-9421. Monday through Friday 9 AM – 6 PM EST.
E-mail: customerservice@radiosound.com

One piece of advice I'll throw out which may or may not apply in these particular cases is to not attempt to play homemade disks with stick-on labels.  Play commercial disks, use special disks and a printer that prints directly on the disk, or just use a marker.  The stick-on labels have caused issues in all kinds of players, from cars and bikes to home systems and computers.

I would try one more thing before going to the dealer with this...pull the maxi fuse, wait five minutes, then replace.  This will totally power all systems down and allow a complete "reset" of the radio.  If that doesn't help, or you're not comfortable with it, see your dealer.

If you use a high quality synthetic oil like Mobil 1 Vtwin or Amsoil (both in 20w50), I would not be at all concerned about running the oil 5K in the crankcase.

Forgive my ignorance but which is the maxi fuse...I see one very large fuse that that is for the rear signals and then a number of the small two prong fuses of which only one is a 30..

The maxi fuse should be under the left side cover, on the outside of the normal fuse box...it's a big 'ol fuse...something like a 75Amp in a separate holder that has to be pulled apart to see the fuse.

I didn't think this was a fix for a regular jam but for the upgrade that wouldn't eject the CD.

If it does work for your reg CD, you will want to check the Harmon-Kardon upgrade procedure to see that you have the most current software upgrades.

This is done on the Harley website at  http://www.harley-davidson.com/cp/moar/en/software.asp

You're right. That's what I get for listening to Jerry (grc). ;D In Jerry's defense when he (T bone) asked in the other thread (C D) it was in the CSE/CSE2 board about a Radio Sound radio.
