When my dealer informed me that in paying him to build up my 96" to a Stage IV 103 my warranty was voided beyond him standing behind the work his techs had done, I cashed in my ESP, got all but a few dollars back and bought a 58" Plasma Screen with the money. My wife and I have continued to enjoy riding the 07 faux SERG pumpkin known as Los Dragonnes and also totally enjoy the new TV. LD has to date performed exceptionally well for 12,000 miles. Should something go awry down the road , then so be it. I wanted more performance and less engine heat and I got it. I won't be whining and carrying on about warranty issues. nad motors etc etc. I did what I did, I knew the consequences and I will live with it.
End of story.

I agree completely!
You have to remember we are in a society that loves to cast blame.
Knowing you like I do, I know that LD has been ridden hard but never abused. There is a difference!
When or if something goes wrong with LD you will just fix it and go on.
You know that when you make your bed you had better be prepared to lie in it to the end.
Those that love to cast blame forget that when pointing a finger at the service tech. the dealer or the Motor Company there is always four other fingers pointing back at them. Just like Pete's issue with his bike, sometimes it's a case of chit happens.
Instead of a bazillion pages of whining I'm sure Pete is probably just making arrangements to have it fixed.
Sunday we had an issue with one of the bikes we road to Richard Childress Vineyards. No whining, just called the guy and he came to the house last night and fixed it. A primary chain makes a hell of a noise at a 100 when it's loose.
Ask Nancy, when we slowed down she said, "we have a little problem".
I did what I did, I knew the consequences and I will live with it.
I see it this way. I expect everything I have to go to redline. If it doesn't, I fix it so it can. If I can't fix it then I get rid of it. Life's to short to ride a "Drama Queen". I know there are people that love the drama more than they love the ride, but that's not me!
And it's certainly not the infamous "Spiderman".
