So Brian made this post and then a a hissy fit because someone picked on him
Com' on Brian, time to come back, you've had your time out.

The reason I asked Brian about what tuner he used was because I had talked with two different tuners that mentioned that even though the Race Tuner was now available for the old Marelli system the Power Commander was actually better in the adjustability of that system. I got this same response twice and that's why I went with the Power Commander on my SERG.
See below,

ON THE OLD FUEL INJECTION BIKES THE RACE TUNER CAN TUNE BOTH FRONT AND REAR CYLINDERS, BUT ON THE REAR YOU CAN ONLY MODIFY YOUR FRONT FUEL TABLE VERY LITTLE TO USE ON THE REAR. MY EXPERIENCE WITH IT, I HAD PROBLEMS IN SOME AREAS NOT BEING ABLE TO GIVE THE FUEL NEEDED THAT THE REAR NEEDED. POWER COMMANDER ON THE OTHER HAND YOU CAN DO WHAT EVER NEEDED TO TUNE BOTH CYLINERS. THERE IS JUST MORE ADJUSTABILITY WITH A POWER COMMANDER FOR THE OLD STYLE INJECTION. DELFI INJECTION THE RACE TUNER IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO. "
The SERG uses a Power Commander.
The Frontier uses a race tuner.
Nancy's bike uses a race tuner.
My Classic uses a race tuner.
The Lowrider is a carb bike.
There are very few people (IMHO) as good as the tuner I use. He's a race tuner guy. His recommendation for my SERG was a Power Commander. He knows how to tune bikes and I went with his recommendation. Based on the low #'s that Brian's SERG showed after his tune and the #'s Don got, I believe I made the right decision.
