Great job Al! Nice execution of the Touring capability of the RK. But watch out here now. Next thing you know, these guys will be bugging you about adding a Fairing, or worse yet, to get a SEUC! :nixweiss:

As ya'll can see, these things don't need no stinking fairings to make great Touring Bikes! Well done! :2vrolijk_21:

How many miles on her now?

Mine went in this week for the 110 mandatory CHG replacement work.

Just over 5K Nige.........so anytime now perhaps!  >:(  Anyway, I was feeling empty without something to worry about once the Heritage went and with it the possible "slippers" problem.  ;)

Ahhh the "slippers" problem . Never really turned out to be a problem though did it?

Do you think the deflectors on your bike have made a lot of difference?

Sorry for late reply Nige, I've just returned from Spain - but not on bike unfortunately1 (that's June :))

Wind deflectors - I've had them on both the Heritage & SERK and they do help with keeping wind and rain off. As I say, protecting the front of the tank was a main consideration.

Photo's - good idea and happy to get together sometime after your Scotland trip which unfortunately I'll miss this year.

I have the same problem with the wind deflectors. I have a custom bike guy that is adding 2 and 1/2 inches to the bracket, putting in new holes and sending them out for chrome . I hope they work as they will be lower than stock.    Billy
