How about this, I take custody during the week, and you can have it on the weekends.  :bananarock:

This seems only fair, doesn't Ken have a bike in his garage that acutally isn't his?  Karma dictates that I should have one of his bikes in my garage.   :2vrolijk_21:

Most Exaulted Ones' (that's all y'all):  I was just told by my local dealer that the current SERT has been obsoleted and that the only tuner that HD has is the Racing Pro SERT with a MSRP of around $600.00.  I want to get a little more oomph out of my scoot (a stock 2008 105th FLHTCUSE3).  Was thinking about putting the Kuryakan Crusher slipons (I hate the sewing machine sound of the OEMs), adding the racing Pro SERT and do something with the air breather.  Problem is, I can't seem to find a replacement for the OEM air breather so the engine can breathe better and I don't want to add a protruding air breather.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  An added problem is that the dealer doesn't have a really good dyno tech on staff and past experience with the last guy they had has left me cold with the current dealer staff.  They have some good techs, but no really experienced dyno personnel.  I am going to the 105th anniversary celebration in Milwaukee.  Are there any good performance shops around that area that could help?

You can get the Super SERT with cables for about 480 from Jenni at Tri county HD in Ohio 513-874-4343

The SE AC fits under the stock air cleaner cover even though the catalog says it doesn't  Part Number 29260-08  about 140 list.

DD, I'm going up to Augusta, ME to have springer and Bean tune the bike. springer's a member here and you can see them tune live on their webcam. After researching this thoroughly, these guys are the place to go in the NE for SERT tuning. Joe's Cycle Repair in Mechanicville, NY is the place to go in the NE for PC tuning! ;)

DD: Thanks for the info.  I found a web site that has a very good price on the Super Pro SERT that has obsoleted the regular SERT.  The web site is: https://www.zanottimotor.com.  They have the new Super Pro SERT for $428.95 and the SE AC for $105.35.  I have also bought HD parts from MandMcycles.com located in Sandusky, OH.  They usually sell HD parts for 15 - 20% off MSRP.  I have located a performance shop about 60 miles from where I live.  The guy that runs the shop is great on metrics and HD's using the Power Commander, but not much experience with the HD tuners.  I might take the tuner to him and let him get familiar with it and see what he can do for me.

You don't think for a minute HD would sell you the whole package do ya?!   ;)

You need a 9 pin from puter to dongle, dongle to ecm or at least I did.

Bob:
If your still looking, call Rod's Performance at (256) 352-2643.  The man knows how to tune a bike.  He prefers PC but can tune a SERT as well.
