Fairing Inserts
« on: April 27, 2005, 03:29:49 PM »

Has anyone seen a SEEG with one of the HD fairing inserts? I was thinking one of the black ones may be attractive. It appears that it surrounds the guages, radio and switches. Expensive though.

I believe they are in the HD catalog at the section where the dashinator overlays are. Think it is in Multifit or Colorshop section.

Why is it a secret?

Mine came from Charlotte.

Have friends at Cox in R/H.

Have friends at Carolina in Gastonia.

Was just wondering if it was a local dealer. I have met all the listed above and they have promised to give out the business cards for this website to their new CVO owners. Was just gonna followup and see if they actually did give out the CVO website cards. You were gonna be my test case.

If that's a problem, then I didn't mean to bother you!

I don't have a problem with it........sounds like the chit I do out here in Cali to promote this site.  Thanks HD for takin the initiative!

I'm thinkin Osmacat probably thought you'd want to trade your Red once in awhile, for his Yellow and he ain't havin no part of that. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

He's just kind of new around here and hasn't really got to know us yet.  Can't blame a fellow for guarding his chit.........specially when it's one of those pretty Yellow ones. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Why in the world would you want to put something like that over the yellow. Anyone with a regular glide can get one of those but only a few have the painted yellow fairing. Just wondering.

After I looked at the overlays at the J&P web site. I changed my mind. They are UGLY!

If you want to change the inner fairing to black you could always get the painted one from HD. Then you would still have the original yellow that wouldn't be damaged from a stick on.
