Vanity Plate Poll
« on: March 28, 2008, 01:18:23 PM »

Please help me decide on a plate.  The options are limited to five characters, two letters first, numbers at end.  I used thr capital I as a one.  A guy I saw has IOOTH on his anniversary.

Thanks people.

Yup, I know.  Mass sucks, but I thought it would be different.  I've had the same plate for 10 years and it looks like crap on the bike.

I voted for SERK3, but I think an honorable mention should go to HD110 and LEAKR.  Both of those could be considered to be in the public interest and safety related.  Anyone seeing those would be forewarned to back off to avoid oil deposits on their windshield. ::)

More revenue for the DMV's for sure, but does make it a little bit easier to find your own in a crowd of HD's of the same types.  :bananarock: :carrot: :jalapeno: :cucumber: :pepper:

Howie said I was more cynical than you.  Maybe.  HOT1 was already taken.  Maybe I should have seen if RNOUT was available, too.

I didn't think it was possible to be more cynical than me.  ;)

I've never wanted a vanity plate BUT  if I did, I would have to steal one of my site buddy's handle

HOGASM   I couldn't think of a better plate than that if I pondered on the topic for four score and seven

Good ole Va. DMV will not let that plate be available (Personalized message requested is not available. Please try another message.) unlike this message you get when plate is already taken Personalized message already taken. You can only purchase it if you already reserved this message or it is on a vehicle you own.. :'( Guess they think it is obscene. >:(

I had an 84 Electra-Glide ( Model FLH)  I sent in to Maine DMV 3 choices. (they tell you to in case your first choice is already taken)

A) FLHSHO
B) FLHTIO
C) FL8TIO

Got a note that my request was obscene

HOT I   ?

The HOT1 was taken.  The Capital "I" is just a vertical line and can be used as a "one"
