but arent they running around 16-18 to 1 dynamic?

I was figuring before the over driven supercharger. Over driving the blower will push the boost in excess of 55 psi!

here is something interesting---- a fuel dragster only turns about 500 revolutions from green light to shut down! hard to imagine isn't it?

Hard to imagine while standing in the top end - sounds like they are going a zillion rpm  :2vrolijk_21:

Yep but that is 500 super hard revolutions, with a cost of over 2k per second and gets about 15gals per quarter mile, I guess if you could let it coast to a stop the mileage would be a little better  :drink:

I believe they do, shutting down the fuel before the traps

Randy shut off the ignition before the fuel one time  damn that was a cut a way view of a blown engine and I do mean blown. We put the back up bullet in for the next run and explained the switches to him first the fuel then the ignition.

What mods would require you change from the stock plug? :orange:

So getting back to the Sparkplug Topic...

I just finished my 103" HTCC Build with 251 Cams. What plugs should I use? My final tune is 97hp & 104tq.

In my opinion, while it runs well, its 5-10% underpowered for the application.

That would entirely depend on your riding style, engine pick-up in acceleration, exhaust pipes color.
If you are using stock plugs, you have a good reference to experiment from.
Just a thought.

MP4164 Autolite would be a good plug

Thank you,

I may give the Autolites a try.

As for riding style, I am a short distance bar to bar rider, who likes to "Grip it & Rip it".

Pipe color is rich to me, no blueing or signs of extreme EGTs at all.

You could cross over the stock plugs to some known popular brands in your area. I believe your stock were 6R12 by Harley.
Another thought to try is the Triple Platinum that Harley sells. They run a little cleaner than stock and give a little better pickup. They seem to last longer also.  You can identify them by the Split Ground electrode.
Just a suggestion. :coolblue:

If you are interested in cleaning up the exhaust to clear, I ran into an additive for the oil that netted a surprise in cleaning the exhaust. If interested, PM me I'll send a link. :2vrolijk_21:
