Help choosing a motor color
« on: March 30, 2008, 08:06:03 PM »

Started putting Crash together. Frame is marbled Brandywine. Tins are black on top, marbled brandywine on the bottom, with silver streak breaking up the top from the bottom.

What I can not decide on is motor colors.......thought of:
1 chrome powdercoating the motor and trans with brandywine cylinders with chrome primary, cam cover etc
2 actually chrome the motor and trans with brandywine cylinders
   3 brandywine the whole motor
4 Chrome powdercoat the whole motor and brandywine powdercoat the primary cover, cam cover, pushrods, etc...

Looks to me like a Chrome V twin will really pull that baby together-can't visualize the jugs being colored to match the frame-

the neck is raked 7.5 degrees from stock,  with a little body work done to clean things up. The holes in the frame are to run the wiring harnesses and cables through
