Bland New SE2 105th
« on: March 31, 2008, 09:40:52 PM »

Just got my bike. What do you recommend for cleaning? Protecting?  What do you do for a quick detail or a long detail?
Thanks - Products would be a great help.

Only about 4 1/2 pages of threads here in the Detailing section of the board.  My advice is grab a cold beverage of you choice :drink:, sit down, read, and take in all the discussions that have already taken place, then buy Glare! :huepfenlol2:

Or skip the reading and just buy the Glare!

For quick roadside detailing, I've got to reccomend my new favorite product, the Honda Cleaner. It makes my earlier favorite, Meguiars Quick Detailer, crummy in comparison.

If it's for a '"Bland" New SE2 105th', then why bother to clean it at all?

Everyone here must try the best quick detailer in the world!!  Britemax 6S Spray and Shine Wet look spray spray on wipe off, unbelievable shine, this is what the pro detailers use, I buy it by the gallon on ebay.
Wash, Megauirs Deep Crystal, Wally world 3.99 a gallon
Protect, GLARE, hands down the best chit in the world, this stuff is like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, the best ever period!
Quick detail, Britemax 6s Spray and Shine Wet look spray, 40+ bucks a gallon, worth every penny, cars and bikes. dashboard, plastic, console, this stuff is magic. I wash the car, while its still wet before I dry, I walk around and spray all painted areas with Britemax, dry with a terry towel, and it looks like its been polished with Glare, which I do once a year, with a buffer to make it easy.
Windows, Sprayaway, been around forever. I get it at Ace
I havent tried the glare spider or other stuff only because I dont think I need to, but maybe one day.

Lets go ridin!
