So........yesterday I flew into LaGuardia....at least that's what my boarding pass said. Once again, the plane was booked solid. Couldn't get an upgrade. Thank God I had an aisle seat this time. Last time I was on a booked flight to LGA and couldn't get an upgrade, I had a center seat between two "large people," (one was tweaking) and I couldn't move. Anyway, I was in seat 22C on a 757. Anyone familiar with that airframe knows there are no windows on that row, so...I couldn't see outside. Had already been through two ground stops, so I figured it couldn't get much worse. We landed. As the jet slowed to taxi, the PIC came over the intercomm and said "Ladies & Gentlemen, welcome to JFK. LGA was closed, so we had to land at JFK. However the bright side is, we've lined up buses to get you to LGA if you need to get there." Grumbles abounded. I was PIZZED! FAWK!
The PIC said, "And that's my best attempt at an April Fool's prank." It was hysterical.
I guess you had to be there.
