If an aircraft can have beauty I still think the P-51 is the cover of playboy, and the sound is just so awesome. And they really do scream coming out of a dive

I couldn't agree more. I always thought the P-51 was the best looking plane of that era.

To bad the P-51 didnt get more time in action before being replaced by the jet. It was an awesome plane for its time
