I have a 07 SE Fxdse... when i got it and finished breaking it in i had it dyno tuned... shortly after that i noticed that the bike was using alot of oil.. i brought it to the dealer where i bought the bike 4 times for this issue... every time they said it was a big motor and it was fine, and my vance and hines power chambers were a part of the problem

... but i had added 3 qts with less than 2500 mi.... i was sick of the same story, got a hd claim number and brought my bike to a bigger dealership.... they ran it on the dyno for a bit said it was fine... i then did the hi compression pistons, new cams, vance and hines 2into1 se heavy breather. it ended up with 110 hp and 115 ft/lb of tq. i went down and payed for it etc... well today they had called me and said they had found the oil problem... they told me that the oil tank was low. and the oil is not returning to the tank from the crankcase... i guess my crankcase had way too much oil in it... i was adding it because it was always low, but it was pumping into the crankcase... i started asking questions. he said i needed a new oil pump because it wasn't returning from the crankcase... he also said that would have caused a power issue.. i told him i wanted to get a whole new engine. he didn't like the sound of that, and he thought he could fix the problem, I'm having them check the crank runout also... anyone ever heard of this?

.... are they ripping my engine down to get to the oil pump? why would it not return? thanks Jon
