My 08 SESG
« on: April 03, 2008, 11:23:35 AM »

Many thanks to all on this site for ideas/help with my mods to my CUSE3.

I have included a few pictures.

Has anyone tried removing the clear plastic on the rear fender that the rear amp was over.  How did you do it?

Thanks

All of that film comes off easily. Any leftover adhesive comes off with assorted solvents. I use mineral spirits most of the time.

Looks nice.

I used a heat gun on my fat boy when I changed out the seats.  If  your wanting to take it off to a certain point, you may have to use a steady hand and a razor knife to score a line. Or take it all off with the heat gun and then cut and replace the area you need.

Bike looks great, I like what you did. The protective film will pull off fairly easy and the remaining glue will come off with a light solvent or lighter fluid. Enjoy your ride.I eliminated the license plate bar on my bike and have an extra kit available if you are interested, http://www.bruisersinc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BRUISERS&Product_Code=4012
