Hello from Illinois, New to this website. You guys had me freaking out since I found this CVO site moments AFTER I purchased my 2008 FXSTISEE2, why with all the talk of 110 engine problems and all. Well all I can say at this point... is time will tell. Dealer did a search for the 08 for me and, had one pulled in from up north Wisconsin way. Got here with 4 miles on the odometer and then with the RUSH slip ons and the race tuner....coming off the Dyno it now has 34 miles on it and I haven't even riden it yet. It's been in the garage for two weeks now....sure looks perty...Waiting for the weather here to break which it looks like it will this weekend. I am not so concerned at this point about the myriad of problems eluded to here on this site...2 yr factory warrenty will help pacify any reservations I might let fester in my head. Also considering the reletively small number of posters who've said they have had issues....well the odds are in my favor, I think.
I traded in my 03 FXSTSI to get the 08. I also have a 06 RK Classic which has been the cats pajamas for cruising with my wife. I have enjoyed reading all the posts here, this really is an excellent website with alot of good info. I look forward to using this site as a reference as well as a place to share some pain & glory....

P.S. The Rush slip ons sound phenomenal and have kept the original appearance intact.
