Pit Bull Lifts
« on: April 04, 2008, 08:34:50 PM »

Looking to get a bike lift to make it easier to clean my wheels. Heard the Pit Bull lift is pretty good. Anyone have any opinions on that one. I have an 08 SERK...they said their "Dyna" Lift works great with the RK.                                    www.pitbullmotorcyclelifts.com  Thanks. Dean

The Pit Bull is a vey good lift. Another popular one here is the J&S.

Another recommendation for J & S Jacks lift.  www.jsjacks.com Get it with the oil drain adapter if you change your own oil.  Great product, and I believe that it costs less than the pit bull, even with the oil drain adapter added to the cost.

I have that same lift. With both our bikes lowered, we have to tilt the bike ever so slightly to slide the lift under them.

If yours is stock height, you will have no problems

Couldn't you put a 2 x 4 under your kickstand for the additional clearance? Also do you have Pit Bulls Dyna version (18" span)or regular(15" span)? Stock height on the SE is lowered. Thanks. Dean

I've used the 2X4 under the rear wheel technique.......don't understand the kickstand theory, though.  :confused5: spyder

same as leveling the bike...plenty of clearance when bike is straight up..the 2 x 4 helps so I shouldn't need any help...I think?
