I have been hearing good things from all choices, but I am still having a problem making up my mind on what one to go with? [smiley=confused5.gif]

in my oppinion choosing which tuning device to use depends on finding a good tuner.
if your hd shop is good with the race tuner get that. if you know a good pc tuner than get that.
it's not so much the device as it is the tuner.
it makes know difference what device you have if noone is good with it.
just my 2 cents.

The Zippers ECM is by far the best on the market as of this date. over 4400 adjustments so it would be hard to out grow. I have one and love it. The bike will go on the tread mill in a week or so. I will let everyone know the numbers when it is done. Stay safe.

Having read things here and in Hot Bike I have decided to bin the HD unit completely and replace it with a Daytona Twin Tec with WEGO unit. This works by drilling an oxygen sensor into the pipes that corrects the mixture whilst in flight.

Of course, "the proof of the pudding is in the eating" so I will keep you posted after the maiden flight! [smiley=helmet.gif]

If I install a full exhaust system along with the Stage One air cleaner, and don't want to install a PC or race tuner.  What Harley Download should be used.

You can purchase the download from Harley. You dealer will have or be able to get a stage 1 download for you. Unless you have a scanner compatible with your bikes ECM you will have to pay someone to install the download for you. Stay safe.

I have used the power commander on both my Harleys. I installed the stage 1 airfilter, 2 into 1 exhaust and the power commander myself on my FLHTCSE2. I even programmed the power commander until I could get the bike over to Doug Morrow at Carls speed shop in Daytona Beach. From their they took over and mapped the fuel injection on the bike.  His comments is it takes over 5 hrs to map the fuel injection correctly with the race tuner vs the 1 1/2 hrs with the powercommander. Man thats a lot of time and money for the dyno!!  [smiley=shocked2.gif] [smiley=brood.gif]

Not if you have a wrench that is capable of tuning the RT. Mine was in and out in 2 hours. It all depends on their competence and knowledge of the product.
