SEEG magazine articles
« on: January 19, 2004, 11:21:38 AM »

Has anyone seen any articles in magazines about the 04 SEEG.  Would think the bike has been out long enough that someone would have reviewed it.

Just last week the Outdoor Life Network aired a special road test of cruisers including the CVO Electra, put on by Motorcycle Cruiser magazine.  I didn't catch all of it but, they got their hands on the orange and black one for the test.  They did a quarter mile comparison and a 1200 mi. road test also.  I don't remember the numbers...sorry!  Sounded like they liked the bike!

Motorcyclecruiser.com only gives you a preview, but no results.  I think they're saving it for one of their issues.

We all should write to the magazines that we subscribe to, requesting that they do a review.

Thanks for the post Black Dog.  The article is all positive from my perspective however, I have to question their torque and horspower (they quoted it at 100 each).

Probably using what HD provides as specs,  although I haven't seen or heard triple digits before. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

It was also in AK's mailbox yesterday and I got home today and there it was.

Orange and black, too!  It had Wisconsin dealers plates on it.

The same magazine (the latest issue of American Rider Magazine) has a Tech. columne called "Ask Joe" by Joe Minton (the name will be familuar to those who have been around motorcycles for twenty or thirty years as the guy who has designed a lot of performance parts, including exhausts).

Besides the SEEG feature, they also printed my letter to Joe Minton and his response.  As I understand it, the 2 into 1 exhaust is still the "performance" exhuast, even for the 103" motor.  Buy the latest issue of AR magazine and read for yourself.
