I already did that Spyduh  I sold my Black/Silver 100th Anniversary Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 Supercharged Supercrew and bought a 3 litre Ranger. If the thing were any smaller I'd have to leave the door part way open to drive around in it.

  Not quite used to the mileage of my new motor - I coasted into a gas station to fill up twice this weekend during our trip to northern Wisconsin...  The first time it was a surprise.  The second time I was holding my breath...  It took 5.2 gallons each time - over $20 to fill :vrolijk27:!!!

You haven't heard??  ???  Shell, Mobile, BP, and Exxon are all coming out with new vehicle care products.  Their new slogan is going to be "If you think our gas prices are high, wait until you see our new line of detailing products!  Something to do when you can't afford to ride!"   :P ::)

Congress is funded by lots of companies, labor unions, and a wide assortment of ax grinders in general - IMHO that is the major problem.  Congressional inaction on energy issues is well documented and that goes back much more than 30 years now.

"Big Oil" is not the problem, but it's a convenient whipping post for those who love to flog away at stuff at times.

I'm thinking Big Diesel Ton Truck is fixin' to get PARKED!!!!!!  This is friggin' ridiculous!  $160 to fill up!  Looks like I'm fixin' to start driving Renea's truck, and she'll revert to the Taurus.  The Sportster is also looking like a possible "daily driver."

I had planned to blame Honda (Suzuki?) for this but now see the error of my ways.  It must be H/D & I suspect there is a HUGE secret stash of refined gasoline in enormous storage tanks in Milwaukee that they have bought to "take gas out of the market".  Part of their executive bonus plan of free gas for MoCo officers no doubt.....   ;)
