My favorite Arco in Roseville is down to $2.03 today. The major stations are around $2.10-$2.14

A rather strange disconnect.  Media has convinced many of us to feel hatred for the oil industry yet our economy goes to hell if we do not have a profitable oil industry.  Suppose it would be more difficult for the media to convince us to hate the shoe industry, but in ancient times sandal makers may have suffered from a similar type of bad press, considering.

I was never well connected myself, Howie.  I used to hate spotted owls but have learned to accept them despite their utter contempt for widgeons & coots.  I do not wear shoes to bed but have seen a movie where a femalian wore shoes to bed & I thank God that O'Reilly was nowhere near that bed since she was rather busy at the time with some big oil & he would have been bloviating.

I used to be a great fan of the shoe industry in my younger days. I well remember spending a whole weekend getting well laced with some well heeled people who had beer on tap. They all had personal trainers and had bodyguards armed with Stilettos. I eventually moved on though as I felt the whole scene had no soul.

So back on topic: $1.67 for regular here in Ann Arbor Mi. Still going the right direction!
