Oil projected to fall to $25 a barrel!



I expect Congress to call oil execs in for another inane grilling to find out why the price has dropped so fast & what they are going to do about it - or not.


Will this projection be as accurate as the $200 per barrel projections were just a few months ago by the oil geniuses?

I will consult with my broken clock which is usually right twice every day about oil futures before I close my short position in oih today.....


Unless one of those pesky time/space continuum anomalies pops up then it can be right more than twice or entirely wrong but you can't tell.....I hate when that happens...

The irony, is that with the gas prices so low, and the states all hurting financially, the legislators are looking at a hefty tax increase on gas. 
Any other states seeing this trend?

I would react badly if one of my Legislators tried to increase revenues on fuel at this time.  Any tax increases at this time would would get my verbose disapproval. All of our legislators need to know that we did did not create this mess and cannot tax us to death to get us out. They need to make cuts from the budgets plain and simple.

If the energy geniuses of Congress would call a special committee meeting and yell "harrumph" at oil execs like they did last time, the results would be....... the media & media watchers would enjoy the "harrumphing" 'cept for those of us who enjoy it for the other reason.  Windfall profits have fallen from the ..... wind?

All kidding aside, it is unbelievable how quickly gas has dropped, next week Congress will call a Bailout for the Oil Companies.
