I've been had
« on: April 10, 2008, 10:24:30 PM »

It's a well known fact among my friends that I absolutely cannot stand a dirty Harley. I'd been thinking lately that my buddies were awfully busy not to be able to change their own oil and do routine maintenance. Everyone's been dropping their bike off with 6 qts of AMSOIL and a filter with the excuse " Hey B, can you lend a hand, I'm way busy lately. Then it hit me  :bulb2: Every bike I work on ends up getting detailed. 4 fluid changes in the past 3 weeks, four free detail jobs. I even polished Bubba_T' solid SERK wheels - - -a chore I don't cherish on my own bike.

I've been had  ???

You've been had and I wish it were me doing the having.  I don't like cleaning the bike but love it when it's done.

Got some oil and a filter, (and a dirty bike), can you lend a hand.  I'm really busy.   ;)

Never happen to you in North Carolina.
The bike you ride here will be clean, serviced and full of Cam II 110.

And we are waiting on you!

I would pitch in if I weren't so damned far away. I actually enjoy cleaning & detailing my bike. It is relaxing to do the services on it too...not to say occasionally it wouldn't be nice if someone else cleaned it.

Brian, I think you just created a problem with the neighbors.  They'll look out to find the culdesac lined up with bikes.  You'll need to get a little skimpily clad sign girl to pass out numbers and beers and say "Next!".
