It did as the 07 bikes the jiffy stand is fully attached to the forward control assy, basically unbolt the forward controls and bolt the extension plates into the original holes and then bolt the controls to the extension. left side takes about 10 mins and brake side about an hour as you must route the new brake cable.

Very nice. :2vrolijk_21: Just wondering how tall are you, and what does the kit recommend for height of the rider?

6'2" but most below the waist 33 inch inseam The kit has no reccomendations for height, i installed the same set on my buddies 07 night train and he is 5'10" and loves them, we have been talking about it for awhile and  Ness finally came out with a good kit that allows use of the exsisting controls. However they only come in flat black, would like chrome but they dont make them yet.

With all the chrome on the pegs I didn't pay any attention to the extensions not being chromed. Chrome would have been nice, but with the frame on the bike being black it's not really that noticeable.

Harley just introduced 3" extended chrome forward controls for the 2007-2008 Softails. I love my 2008 Springer, but I can NOT get use to forward controls. My inner thighs are burning in 15 minutes. At that point I have to use the rear passenger pegs,or put my heels on top of the front pegs, which blow off above 65 mph.

I bought the HD extended forward controls instead of just the extension brackets from Ness. Can't say that solved the problem for me.Still have to hold your legs together next to the tank. You can't just relax your legs like on a standard mid control bike.I'm 6'2" and I could use more room, and I am not long legged, all torso.

To solve the problem with the wind blowing my feet off the slick factory pegs,I bought Kuryakyn foot pegs with heel rest. They have big ribbed rubber pegs that grip your boots much better than stock.

I have spent several hundred dollars trying to get comfortable, but I still am having trouble with this set up. On the other hand,I have been on other bikes with forward controls and been fine.

Here is the HD forward controls, before I changed the pegs.Note the unpolished chrome on the front view.HD said it was a design problem and will make it right,I waiting to see what they will do.

Note this is not an extension bracket, but new controls.

Drog,
Nice look, i considered the harley set but the Ness bracket set up also moved the controls away from the bike as well approx 3/4 inch, giving more width so feet sit further out or away. I also had the same issue with clearance. I note that your front pegs are flat on plane or close, i tilted mine back a bit and did get a little better grip at higher speeds. For sure the centerline pegs are a bit slippery
