Damn Straight!  She rode circles around me!  I usually say it's always fun riding behind a pretty lady rider...but in this case, she pulled away so fast that I never got to enjoy the view!

Ahhh,

The art of debate....Bottom Line - Anything and Everything is subject to happen, just follow the money...follow the money...follow the money...

Nothing wrong with that as long as people are willing to pay it...

We will see soon.

Here's my thought!

a 2006 CVO Ultra in 1 of 2 directions

1) A 103 motor with all the Ultra options. I mean all of them!

2) A S/E Ultra with a v-rod motor. With all the Ultra options.

It's hard for me to fathom but there are people that don't want as much horsepower as I do. I ride with my local HOG club sometime and they are the slowest people to ride with. It is more important for them to have the CB radio's and intercoms so they can communicate with each other. Actually I asked one of them why he didn't have a S/E and he said because the passenger accomodation were not as good as an Ultra. He also said that they needed the cb and intercom when doing the group rides. He said he wanted the extra power but the other options an Ultra offered were more important in the big picture.

So imagine this, a CVO Ultra with a 103. Sure winner for all the tourers that want it all.
MSRP $34,995.00, with tax, tag, freight,set-up and that interactive Harley exhaust and a few chrome bits, heated grips etc. -----> $40 big ones! The Harley stock will rise again.

Or
A V-rod CVO Ultra just like above. All the whistles and bells but with that long life water cooled motor that makes big power. No more being passed by those Goldwings!
How can it get any better.

And that's MHO!

Spyder
You know the drill.
If it has HD on it people will buy it!

At least that's what Harley is counting on.

I had a chat with my dealership yesterday... and they confirmed 1 bike that will be built next year on the CVO platform........ The ULTRA CLASSIC... Now that should command some EXTRA $$$$ !!! Don't have color info yet, but they said that they know this will be one of them for the next go round...  [smiley=beerchug.gif] [smiley=beerchug.gif] [smiley=beerchug.gif]

We are having fun guessing what they will do...as Schrader said H-D is not talking until the end of July and especially not about the CVO bikes. If word gets out, people will lose their jobs. my .02.

Anyone ever thought of a CVO Springer?  How about a Softail Standard to look like a aftermarket custom with the 103?  Both would be nice to see.

Hello all, I am enjoying all the good info on this site. If there were to be an Ulta CVO in 06,
does anyone know if the tour pack would be easily detachable as it is on a SEEG? I like
the versatility and the way the bike looks without it on an SEEG, but would like it for longer trips.
