Riding in Eastern, NC
« on: April 13, 2008, 06:10:12 PM »

Out riding with Abby and she is really digging her bike, just waiting for 500 miles
and then we will slap the Stage I goodies on it for her and need to add
the WindVest windshield and we are ready to hit the road together!
Have Fun,

Glad to see you both out enjoying your bikes. Eastern N.C. is a fun place to ride, and the weather for the most part is always good. :2vrolijk_21:

Tim

Looking good there buddy!   :2vrolijk_21:

Was a good day riding here today. We rode up to Lake Lure and around the area.

Another couple hundred miles of nice weather and curvy roads.

Chip,
You said it there with the weather.
We did about 150 miles heading to the far reaches of Beaufort, NC and then up
58 to Maysvill and of course the scenic route back home to Peletier.
Man, this is some fun stuff.
Are you guys headed to Myrtle this May?
Have Fun

Cool beans there Tim!
We will be at the beach.
I have a condo on the beach at Surfside but we also rented a big house across from the beach.
Gonna be a party!
Hope to see you and Abby there!
I will send you a phone # and location.

Get that Windvest on her bike and she will love you even more!
That's a fine looking bike!

Awesome Tim, thanks for sharing.  I've got a cherry Jester too and my wife has a sportster that we just got last week.  I'm looking forward to the 2 of us together.  She just passed her permit test on Friday.  The forecast is to warm up this week.  I'll get her out practicing and we'll join you soon!

JW,
That is awesome!
Abby did a rider's edge course a couple years ago and loved it and we got her
a cool Purple Buell blast for her first bike.  She rode the heck out of it and then
we sold it to move here to NC and damn if we didn't have to send her overseas
to the sand box.  So I went and found the Nightster and had my good Neighbor
make me a big Yellow bow to put on it for when she got home and she loves the
bike!
Your wife will too.  These sportsters are so damn cool !!!
Will you guys be heading to Myrtle?
Have fun,
TimBone

Tim, she's taking the same course in June.  We should have her out starting and stopping this week.  She's cautious by nature and very nervous even sitting on it.  I give her a lot of credit.  That's why we started with a used Sporty.  We won't be out much it she's not comfortable with it.  We won't be in Myrtle.  But will be in York, and Adirondacks.  And, hopefully, Key West next April.
