the upper is the low beam. the inner circle is the high beam

Ok, so I am a dummy too. Where does it state that the high position is low beam, and the circle is the high beam? I looked in both standard service manual and the FLHRSE4 service manual as well. Any place where it describes this?

Thanks so much.

Dual Bulb Halogen Headlamp Kit

The Dual Bulb Halogen Headlamp features advanced reflector optics and separate bulbs for high and low beam functions. The euro-inspired projector beam styling combines a state-of-the-art look with a CAD designed faceted reflector bowl that is optimized for crisp patterns and light cut-off. The single upper bulb functions in low beam, and both upper and lower bulb operate in high beam. The low beam setting produces a wide curb-to-curb light pattern, and the high beam adds focused light down the center of the lane without compromising width. Kit includes housing, 55-watt low beam halogen lamp, 35-watt high beam halogen lamp and all necessary mounting hardware. Does not meet ECE regulations.

I had the passing lamps, chrome side brackets, relocated the turn signals, and had PIAA bulbs installed in the main headlight high and low, and another oem installed in the passing lamps. At the HD Shop. My cirlce is the low beam. So, it's wrong and I need to get it torn apart again, yes?

so in low you hve the inner, and in high you have both?

if so remove the headligt trim ring and the 3 screws holding the head light in, swap the 2 halogen plugs and reassemble

Okay, I see the source of the information. Thank you.

I can't believe I have to take it back to a factory trained HD Dealer and have them make this right.

They will be a few hours on this and I wish I had screwed it up myself so I could be a real DOPE like my brothers across the planet.

I would switch it myself, but I enjoy watching them squirm sometimes. They get so full of themselves when installing stuff.

Thanks again.

That depends. Is the bulb in question, chrome? If this is the case, I would say roughly, 3-5 OCD CVO wrenchers; 3-5 'cause, see if the socket is chrome, that's two very bright shiny things, and I can only do a one or two shiny things without medication.

Hey Hoist not trying to hijack, but are you telling me that there is a better headlight option than the crap that is on the stock bike. If so II would really be interested. I don't see as good as I once did. Would love some HIDs for the 07 SERK! :bananarock:
