Number 846 arrives in the UK

After 6 months of waiting # 846 arrives in the UK.  I picked her up in Newcastle on Sat, and rode her the 50 miles to home in North Yorkshire.  Whilst stuck in a jam on the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle the heavens opened and we both got well and truly Christened, P-wet through!!
I opted to get lights put onto the back box for safety reasons, (we don't get them in the UK as the spec is different) and after fretting about the heat of the rear cylinder I also got the fan fitted.  If it doesn't keep the cylinder temp down in traffic than at least it will suck cool air onto my right thigh!  I also mounted a Zumo 550 as the stock GPS speaks Russian or some other language!
I would like to get a decent set of pipes fitted, but I am off to Germany and Austria in the summer, and rumour has it that the cops in Germany are impounding bikes with noisy pipes, so better safe than sorry for now.  If any of you guys in Germany know different then please let me know.

congrats on the bike.  I'm sure you'll find the wait worth it.  I find it curious that HD would make different versions of the same bike, in the same color at the same factory.  I'd like the extra lights in the rear also.  There no such thing as "being seen too much".

congrats on ur new ride , yep i have heard of the german police pulling noisy bikes, but not had personal experience of it, coming from whisperland  oppps  sorry congrats from switzerland.
