Just got off the phone with Jim's for Ken. Jim's now has their own TB called the Ellipse Advantage TB (elliptical throat). They specifically recommend their 58mm TB for the 120 and the 62mm for the 131. It comes with SE 4.89 injectors, fuel rail, MAP sensor, etc. You supply the A/C assembly. They're developing their own A/C assembly for it as well, but it's not yet available. You can use my DPP w/S&S Teardrop A/C for now if you'd like and wait for theirs, use your current A/C assembly and wait for theirs, or just keep either one of those on if ya like either of those 2. :2vrolijk_21:

So there ya go Ken, have Abernathy's order the 58mm Jim's TB assembly and install it for free with the A/C assembly of your choice. Have them put a canned map for it into your already SERTed ECM. After you decide which A/C you're gonna keep on the bike, get it to Golden with your PC and get it tuned properly. You'll see a different motor when you're done! After all, this chit ain't rocket science! ;)

Chip,

The stock t/b on an 07 SEUC is 46mm.  I have a 62mm HPI on my motor.  The motor seems to love it.  Everything hooked right up with no issues on the HPI throttle body, including the cruise control.

Scott

Thanks Scott!
An accurate voice of reason.
 :2vrolijk_21:
**********************************

Another fact,
My 120B came with a 46mm on it. (I know, it's hanging on my wall)
With that throttle body it produced 108/112T on Tmans dyno.
**********************************

My 120B Jim's built 18 months ago has an HPI 56mm T/B with the 4.89 injectors.
*********************************************************************************

So Ken, what does all that mean?
I think it means that with 5K plus members you may possibly get 5K plus recommendations as to what you need to do.
Try again talking with Jim's for them to make a recommendation as to what to use and or ask them to recommend a builder that has many 120's under their belt to find out what they recommend for a stock 120. You can't go wrong with a proven combination. You just have to find someone who has built some.

Good luck!

Or Ken
Get Hoist to call Jim's.
Either way the answers are the same.

Ken,

HPI no longer makes a 56 they now make the 55, 58,62.   Remember if you go with the larger throttle body to get the correct intake to fit your 120 if you use the HPI.  They have at least 2 different ones depending on the size of your cylinders.  Also the HPI comes with their own Air cleaner and backplate and it fits under my stock cover that others are using as a doorbell :)

You will need to get the 4.89 injectors though I believe HPI will also sell those to you as well.   The other choice is to get the injectors from
