WANTED: Calif. Bay Area Painter
« on: April 17, 2008, 03:11:43 PM »

I need some pianting done.

I have 2 touring bags.
2 bag extenders that need mounted to the touring bags.
New customer Rear fender
Front fender

That all need painted. HD Vivid Black or HC 25.

Looking to not spend alot here to have this done.  All the parts are off the bike and no assembly to the bike required. On assembly needing help with is attaching the bag extenders.

Anyone here paint?  Can recommend someone who paints?

I am trying to find someone who is good yet not gouge the pocket book at the same time.

Any help finding someone would be appreciated.

Thanks!

HD-Dude can very likely recommend someone he's actually worked with.  You might also PM Iselbulls (Don).  He got a fender done somewhere at there that looked amazing in the photos.

Try Bob Hope (Hope Custom Paint) in Fremont (510)  656-4753, (http://www.hopecustompaint.com)

Used to be Morelli's Custom Painting in Fremont (510) 886-3737 was great, but remember that the owner (Ron) died and not sure if they're still open or not.

Riff Raff Customs in Danville area (925) 997-9686  (http://riffraffcustoms.com) is great but hear he's pricey.

At least you can start with these guys and see if Jim (HD Dude) comes up with more.

I have used Kirk Taylor at Custom Design Studio in Novato.

I am a huge fan. Kirk is competent and has high integrity (a rare combination in this business)!
