Undertaker Towing System

Does anybody have any experience with this towing gadget?  I guess there is some controversy about tranny lubrication towing in neutral, but most of the critics haven't used one.

The only good thing I can say about them is, a guy at work bought one and used it one time.  After that one time, he convinced me I needed to sell him my Kendon so I could buy me an enclosed trailer.  ;D

Not me... I wouldn't attach my enemy's bike to that thing.  I'd prefer a enclosed trailer -- or at least a flat bed to that.

Putting a lot of miles on the rear tire, bearing, belt, trans bearing and 5th or 6th gear. And your not getting to ride those miles. NO GOOD!!

Not sure why there would be controversy about trans lubrication in neutral, we aren't talking about an automotive automatic trans that requires the engine to drive an oil pump.  The H-D trans relies on splash lubrication, and as long as the output shaft is turning there would be splash lubrication.  :confused5:

I've seen several different devices to haul stuff that were designed to plug into a trailer hitch receiver, but this is the first one for towing a bike.  I'm not sure why, but I get the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it.  My advice would be to stick with a purpose built trailer.  Kendon makes some nice ones that can be stored in very small spaces.

WOOOOO the last thing I would worry about would be tranny lub with that thing, but I can see why they call it what they do and ship it in a coffin, I would stay away from that and atleast go to a open trailer.

I'm pretty much convinced it's a bad idea. Just thought it would be convenient for dropping the bike off for service on the way to work and stuff like that. I guess if it was any good Willie would have given every 110 owner a free one by now.  :-\  Doc
