I'll definitely let you know. Right now I'm trying to find the best tuner withing a thousand miles or so of Dallas, Texas, (any sugestions welcomed). Joes Cycle up in New York somewhere is supposedly the best in the country but I don't have the time for that length of a trip in the forseeable future. I looked over the website you suggested and noticed that they use the Dynojet Tuning Link program to generate a custom map. I have heard several statements to the effect that this program is NOT the best way to generate a high quality custom map. What is the group opinion on this software? Is this the method you and Chip used to get the dyno numbers you have referenced on this and other threads?
I recommend John and Sandy Golden. He did my bike and I feel that he got the
most hp/tq possible from my intake/exhaust and engine setup. My bike starts
when you just touch the start button and runs GREAT! I got 16hp and 13ft-lbs
over the base line run. Just as important, he did it quickly. Some people take
3,4 up to 6 hrs on the dyno making pull after pull and flogging your bike hard.
Mine was on the dyno a total of 45 minutes. With each run you could tell it
was improving. Also the seat-of-the-pants dyno says it is a big improvement.
There may be better tuners out there, but I don't see how they could be much
better if any better. And the BIGGEST reason to go with John and Sandy is
that TWOLANERIDER RECOMMENDS THEM and we all know Don knows best
