my new crate motor went 3800mi before dreaded leak appeared.  i kept on requesting that the supervisor call me (rusty). never happened. i left a messege for five days in a row. someone else would call and say i'm calling for mr dwyer.... :nixweiss:
all my documentation is in order, hope it's enough.

i'm sure all anyone wanted is a dependable non-leaking cvo bike we bought in good faith. confidence is a fuuny thing.

i'm trying to keep the faith!... :drink: :drink:

I've always know that line as "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle em with bullchit!" But it's the same meaning. They're FOS with their excuses. But without a solution, WTH do you expect em to say. FTF & FTW!!! ;)

If I'm not mistaken, Textron is the parent company of Polaris Industries and Victory Motorcycles.

Wouldn't this be a conflict of interest for Mr. Ziemer?

I too had both head gaskets replaced with the new 7B ones last week and then went on a 1500 mile trip. Leak started within first 150 miles. After 4 times in the shop, I just give up. Mine leaks about 1/2 quart every 1200 miles or so. Easier to carry a couple of quarts of oil than to keep taking it to the shop to fix a leak that is not fixable. Someone said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Still love the bike in spite of the leaks.

I have three friends that had problems with their 110's this past weekend. All three had previously received the latest gasket fix. This was the first really nice spring weekend here and 2 of them were on their first long ride since last fall. Like someone else pointed out on another thread, this is most assuredly a sign of things to come as warm riding weather now spreads up. Got to say I could not be happier I got my deposit back and passed on that Casper.
Back to the original post, IMHO get your deposit back and wait for a few short months for the 09's to come out. I'll give good odds to anyone willing to bet the 110 will be back in 09.

That's what I'm doi'n!!!!!!! Waiting till they admit the problems with the 110" and I see here that they did actually work it out properly or see what the 09 engine is. Sure there's warranty but it takes time and costs money to run back and forth to the dealer, plus why go looking for trouble when you know it's already there.

Since I hear that HD monitors websites, they must watch this one too. HD, you've ignored our pleas to get this 110 engine right, but we were still buying them anyway. So I guess it wasn't so important to you guys then. Maybe now that people are afraid to buy them, are you willing to admit a problem and do something about it now? Will you even have the nerve or courtesy to answer us? ::) ;)

Howie, Willie G just called and asked me to let everyone know that he is personally taking charge of the 110 fix.  So hang in there.  It won't be long now, lol. :pepper:

Funny he just called me also. He said Howie is really the new owner of Indian Motorcycle Company and there is no problem with the 110's.

I heard the bridge comes with a toll booth & you get to keep all the tolls........

A wise investment compared to certain other things, I suppose.   ;)  8)
