Cybil's New Highway Pegs!

I saw this product and bought it months ago. I just got around to installing them. It's from Fat Baggers Inc (FBI). They're called FBI Jac-Knife Highway Pegs.

Not sure about them yet. I haven't tried them. First they appear very diffifcult to use if you haven't exotended them before you take off. They are foled up under the floorboards. Second, I'm not sure if they'll cause less ground clearance and excessive scraping in curves. But it's a great idea, and an extremely well made good quality product. I got the chrome ones for Wig Swept Floorboards. I'll let ya'll know after York what I think. ;)

They look good, However test them out before you ride them hard they look like you could grind them off real easy or hookem on the road, I know my floorboards are worn on the edges.

They look nice, however I read an article in a motorcycle magazine about them and they complained about them dragging. I believe they were on one of the FBI production bikes, and not sure if it was lowered or not.

First thing I noticed after installing them. I'll be keeping a close eye on that. That's my main concern with them. My bike is raised to stock RK height, not the lowered SERK height. I like the idea of having another position to put my legs up on. I might be OK with them. Then again, I might not! :nixweiss: ;)

They're bolted on from below, with one bolt as the pivot. You need to remove the floorboards and do a minor amount of grinding on the bosses at the bottom of the pan. Nothing major though. They're excellent quality billet. Clearance is my only concern with them. But having another riding position on long trips is really nice. ;)

They look nice.  But they are low...

I've got to decide what to hang on the SERG.  Have a peg with a stirrup on the red bike and I'm too used to the extra lenght/heal rest/different positions.  The guy that had the SERG before me also had legs that were about six foot longer than mine.

My, my we are looking good.

Hopefully once you put some miles on Thursday it wont be so sparkly anymore, that way some of us don't have to worry about detailing before the trip.
