Just picked mine up the other day and I believe the grips are not as hot as they should be.  This morning it was 26 degrees and the heat was barely adequate at best when turned up to "6".  Seat was plenty hot.

My 07 SEUC is in the shop now for heated grip repair. It has been a hassle. First they called me to tell me that they were not covered by warranty. When I explained that the CVO comes from the factory with heated grips they said OK. Now I am waiting for them to officially declare them needing replacement, they tell me once that happens they will need to order the parts, and that will take a couple of weeks. It is nothing but a hassle. I am going to stay the course and have them replaced. I get no heat at 3 and mild heat at 6. Bike is almost 2 years old, they worked great when the bike was new.

Sometimes I really wish I prefered the BMW's

My local dealer just called me. They informed me the Heated Hand Grips for the 07 SEUC Are On National Back-Order. I Hope This Means Harley is Updating The Design or Fixing The Issue Before Sending Out Replacements. The Other Option is That They Have Had So Many Failures, They Are Just Making More. I will Hope For My First  Guess.

Anybody with a SEUC parts catalog have the p/n for the '06 or '07 Stealth left side heated grip?  I think it may be a little different from the over the counter heated stealth because I believe the wiring is internal on the SEUC/2 version.  Thanks, PJ

Hi. My heated grips failed again for second time. First time they was replaced but again no heat. Whe was working properly, they make a lot of heat, even on snowing mornings with heavy gloves, but quality control on HD is very low and bike price is too high. Also rear cylinder oil leak. Replaced at dealer and....again oil leak at bottom o ring on rear slug. Left heated hand grip from factory FLHTCUSE2 is: 56956-07. Right side: 56955-07. :soapbox:

My 08's heated grips work great; usually set them at 3 or 4 unless temp gets down to low 40s, then up it to 5 or 6.  They get too hot for bare hands, so I'm half expecting them to burn out soon (like so many have).  Time to knock on wood.

My seat also gets pretty hot on high, and gently warm on low.  2nd knock.

I reckon I'll find out if mine still work intermittently as soon as I get my bike back.   :)

Went for a ride late last night. Grips don't feel very warm.........again. I''m going to have to take to the dealer in spring for a new set. Already on my second. I'll make sure I get the best out of my extended warranty. THE MUFFMAN

I have used them 3 times...They should blow out next time I imagine.
Set at 2-3 they were nice a toasty as it is now dipping into the 50-60 degree work ride at O early hunnert.
