Denver Mint State Quarters needed
« on: April 23, 2008, 10:21:18 PM »

Nine years ago for Father's Day, my youngest (then 15) without much money for a present gave me a book to collect Statehood Quarters in. While I had never collected coins, I grew to enjoy finding each new quarter in circulation vice getting them at the bank. This went along smoothly until the last quarter to be issued for 2007- - Utah. Here it is almost May of 2008 and I still have not gotten a Utah quarter in change anywhere. Nor have I seen either of the first two for 2008 Oklahoma and New Mexico. Therefore I am sending out a plea to anyone else who collects these for these three quarters. Think of something of equal value (or greater ) you'd like in return. PM me and I'll give you my address. As the title of this thread notes, I have been collecting the ones from the Denver mint.

Thanks

Scot me bucko, that's all the more reason for you not to find one. It's like Gas outside the gates of the refinery in LA being 20 cents more than everywhere else. But your efforts on my behalf shall not go unrecognized.

HELL, i've been to the states 4 times, and only just noticed the last time (in florida) that you guys had different states on the quarters, so i feverishly tried collecting the 48 states before i went home (10 days) but alas i managed a credible 26 states. Unfortunately i didnt get a UTAH quarter either or the dakotas amongst others, anyway it looks like you will get one ;D so your collection will be ok. I will have to resume my search when i come to the 105th in milwaukee, ROLL ON!! :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

When the book is done you can finally afford that double latte at Startbucks we're helping to fund!  Good luck with the last two.  It'll be very touching to wrap up the completed book and give it back this Father's Day!
